Underhive Growing

Подулье понемногу растет. Забрал очередные пробные куски террейна для нашего клуба.

Первым из очередных ништяков у меня на рабочем столе был сегмент канала, такая урбанистическая речка, длинной 6 дюймов. Т.е. для игрового стола понадобится минимум 8 таких сегментов. Так же планируется сегменты с поворотами, ответвлениями, более широкий мост и, возможно, насосная станция.

Underhive is growing slowly. Got more test pieces for local gaming club.

First I have here a canal segment, a kind of urban river, 6 inches long. For the gaming table we will need at least 8 segments. I got plans on intersection segments, turns, a bigger bridge and possibly a pump station.

Считаю, что урбанистический ландшафт будет незаконченным без всевозможных заборов и стен. По этому поводу заложил составную систему стенок. В принципе, думаю сделать около дюжины секций, и на этом мои изыскания в заборостроении и закончатся. Сомневаюсь, что тут можно придумать что-то еще более оригинальное, чем то что уже сделано.

I believe urban landscape is not full without walls and fences of all sorts. That's why this walls were made. Plan is to make about a dozen straight sections, 1-2 more gates and 2-4 more broken ends. Can imagine something more original that can be done here.

Кое-что я так и не успел закончить до отъезда, а именно здание, которое проспойлерил в предыдущий раз. Торжественно клянусь собрать его и выложить на обозрение.

Something is left unfinished for now. A building that were teased the last time. But I swear i will complete it soon enough.

The Underhive

Иногда я бываю очень одержим определенной "темой". Отсюда и большое количество так и не завершенных проектов в этом блоге. Но некоторые темы цепляют на долго и не хотят отпускать даже через года, то и дело возвращаясь. Одна из них это горячо любимая мной Некромунда, которую мы с Витей Knight'ом опробовали впервые уже больше 10 лет назад. Для нее в различное время было сделано несколько банд, собрано большое количество террейна.

Потому я с большой радостью и энтузиазмом воспринял новости о возрождении культового скирмиша про мрачный мир банд подулья.

Sometimes i can be very obsessive. That explains a lot of unfinished projects over here. But sometimes this obsession carries itself through years. One of them i dear Necromunda, which were first played by me and Viktor a friend of mine over ten years ago. Over a years a few gangs and a number of terrain were made to play this game.

So it was a real joy to hear the news of its resurrection. Cant wait to venture into the deep underhive once more.

Так что определенную часть свободного времени я уделил выкройкам террейна подходящего для мрачных городских улиц сорокового тысячелетия.

So I spent some free time making some terrain suitable for the grim dark city of 40 millennium.

Laser Cut Corridors WIP

These genestealers now have a non-zone mortalis corridors to stalk in the dark. Blast doors are soon to be added to scenery.

Flu and Warhammer

Flu gave me opportunity to what is called "paint some minitures" (more like cover them in paint in my caze).

Deadly Officio Assassinorum operative, and my current alter ego from DH campaign - Lucretia Dannica, a void born, 20 y.o. psyker. Not really pleased with the latter, must ask someone to improve my paintjob.

Two cute familiars for whatever needs i have. One of them - from the new Deathwing Terminator box, and its awesome, so much bitz for converting!

Some WIP shots of Rogue Trader and comrade for friends Inq28 campaign that is comming soon. Master Holt from Warmachine just gives the impression of a Rogue Trader i need. I only added the cutlass to right hand yet, but i have plans for a book in the left. His buddy is a possible Arch Militant of the party. In fact i only scrapped the space wolves head with eyepatch (not clearly visible on photo), when i realised that its a perfect match for a old sea wolf look.

Few conversions for my Khador army.

Man-O-War Kovnik (with a close up of Axe-Cannon). I already ordered the original Kovnik shield, so he can be legal according to Steam Roller rules about conversions.

Second one is Battle Mechanik Officer. Yes, she is a chick, and i already named he Gadget. Got some original bits ordered for her too.

The last, but not the least, is my original character for IK-rpg or Dark Heresy (i honestly cant chose). Not much work done, since i found it hard to make a characterfull conversion and not to simply copy conversions made by others to this model.

Sketch

I needed a suitable mentor for players to appear in Dark Heresy campaign that I hope to GM soon.
Unnamed (at this point) Ordo Hereticus inquisitor with almost radical beliefs, yet she is about to burn anyone who dare to make such accusations.

I highly base the model on Inquisitor Adrastia from Dawn of War: Retribution, so i will need to do much sculpting, or (which is much more probable) i will find a better sculptor than me to have the work done.

Есть такое высказывание, "я птица гордая, пока не пнешь не полечу". Так вот этот ролик пнул мою фантазию в направлении "а как это смотрелось бы в Wh40k?"
Брат и сестра, брошенные родителями, борящиеся за выживание в подулье. Жизнь большинства таких обитателей Империума серая и короткая, особенно если на них вдруг обратят внимание служители культа темных богов. Однако по случайности андерхайверы заманивают предводительницу культа с приспешниками в мусоросжигатель, чем и обращают на себя внимание загадочного человека с медальеном =I= на шее...

Пожалуй сохраню идейку в голове до следующих партий Dark Heresy, а может и воплощу в миниатюрах.
