Chain of Command

Yesterday i was able to play a CoC game with Sergei aka Voize. It was good to recover rules of this awesome wargame in my memory. So there is a quick recollection of the events.
For this time my fallschirmjager faced british infantry, reinforced by brits paratroopers. Germans was attacking in flank attack scenario.
Our table setup:

By the end of control phase british forces seized control of red cafe building and a living house in their quarter. Fallschirmjagers jump-off points scattered on the table around brits, but the ones i actually used in game was in garden and near the corn field barn.

Btitish started to deploy on the battlefield first, laying in overwatch for coming germans. Fallschirmjager however managed to take the barn and garden house with just one man as a casualty.

Arriving germans put their MGs to work, waiting for artillery obresver to fix on the target.

Artillery support was... lets say uneffective as british ended turn soon after. Using the advantage of the blind spot of the building my forces started to push brits. Only to be caught in enemy artillery barrage. Sadly this one also done little effect.

As the time passed with many teams broken and few officers killed by enemy fire, british defeat became obvious

Fallschirmjager did a great job with only few men dead among their ranks. Then something happened. I think leutenant just wanted an iron cross for himself or something. Hew led an assault on the living house occupied by british paratroops squad and remains of infantry squad.

Close combat is hell. As the result of this fight british forces routed from the table and fallschirmjager squad nearly wiped out. The overall casualties of the sides was comparable, with 2/3 german losses coming from that last asaault.

Taking a break from Savage Worlds and Warmachine was refreshing. Should do it every once in a while. Thanks for a great game Sergei!

Stomping Mechs

Bunch of mechs. Three more to go.

In fact Im not the fan of battletech universe and original battletech miniatures. But i found out, that recently battletech started to redesign, and new Mechwarrior Online mechs looks surprisingly gorgeous. So subject became interresting to me.

So interresting that i make some laser-cut building for 6mm scale.

Also a little kitbash from some 1/350 aircraft, so it can be used as aerospace fighter for Alpha Strike.

Resent stuff

Yep. Still did not learned how to take good photos.
Alexia Ciannor and Risen unit. Wanted them to look "fresh", like just dead, risen by Alexias magic on the battlefield. The original PP Risen really cant give that impression.

Also going to use them as thralls for Iron Kingdoms rpg. 10+ more risen to come soon... ish.

More laser stuff. Containers! Everybody loves containers. Especially if they are cheap. About 5$ each.

For zombie, sci-fi, modern combat, 40k, etc.

Warmachine reinforcements

Something for my Iron Kingdoms/Warmachine project.

The merciless killer Orsus Zoktavir in company of two argus warhounds and a Spriggan warjack is ready to join Khador forces.

This three are some miniatures to use in Iron Kingdoms rpg. Pistol Wraith, Courtesan and Trollkin adventurer. Courtesan will dub as proxy Madelyn Corbeau in games of Warmachine.

Chain of Command stuff

Finally finished Fallschirmjager force for CoC. Many thanks to Altere Fritz for a good dozen of paintjob.

Full platoon of german paratroops and support of panzerschreck, flamethrower, MG and mortar section + medic, sniper and artillery spotter.

This ones are next CoC project - soviet winter troops. First time making snow bases out of soda+white paint+PVA, but i like the result. Maybe I will use it on my Khador army in the end.

Some dirty bearded barbarians

Time for more crappy photos of mine. Nothing really impressive, just doing a painting for a random antique project. Here in our LGC we desided to take a go in Dux Britanniarum rules, with a homebrew 1 century AD lists. So it makes Brittons, Germanic tribes, Imperial Romans, Sarmatians and so on. I picked the beloved Brittons.

Celtic warriors with mastiff pack and a woman warrior. I will field her as champion or noble. She just dont look royally enough, so i will not field her as Boudicca.
Also i made some fun here with a laser. Group bases for warriors.

Warmachine time

I figured out, that in my less than frequent updates i rarely post something painted. Recently i bumped on Warmachine/Hordes league in my town, that came literally out of nowhere. I decided to take part, and so there is some photos of painted games.
