Resent stuff

Yep. Still did not learned how to take good photos.
Alexia Ciannor and Risen unit. Wanted them to look "fresh", like just dead, risen by Alexias magic on the battlefield. The original PP Risen really cant give that impression.

Also going to use them as thralls for Iron Kingdoms rpg. 10+ more risen to come soon... ish.

More laser stuff. Containers! Everybody loves containers. Especially if they are cheap. About 5$ each.

For zombie, sci-fi, modern combat, 40k, etc.

Warmachine reinforcements

Something for my Iron Kingdoms/Warmachine project.

The merciless killer Orsus Zoktavir in company of two argus warhounds and a Spriggan warjack is ready to join Khador forces.

This three are some miniatures to use in Iron Kingdoms rpg. Pistol Wraith, Courtesan and Trollkin adventurer. Courtesan will dub as proxy Madelyn Corbeau in games of Warmachine.

Warmachine time

I figured out, that in my less than frequent updates i rarely post something painted. Recently i bumped on Warmachine/Hordes league in my town, that came literally out of nowhere. I decided to take part, and so there is some photos of painted games.

WIP shots of Iron Kingdoms at war

Few conversions for my Khador army.

Man-O-War Kovnik (with a close up of Axe-Cannon). I already ordered the original Kovnik shield, so he can be legal according to Steam Roller rules about conversions.

Second one is Battle Mechanik Officer. Yes, she is a chick, and i already named he Gadget. Got some original bits ordered for her too.

The last, but not the least, is my original character for IK-rpg or Dark Heresy (i honestly cant chose). Not much work done, since i found it hard to make a characterfull conversion and not to simply copy conversions made by others to this model.

Meanwhile in the Kingdoms of Iron

Aside from painting miniatures for this weeks Dungeon Crawl test, i was able to make some more casting experiments:

Thats why i really started casting stuff. Now i need to make molds for medium and large bases oh the same design. And when ill be able to defeat this pesky little bubbles this bases will be available to my fellow wargamers.
Besides im working on the new kind of  wooden dock bases, to go along with upcoming terrain piece.
I also tried some casted bases on minis for Iron Kingdoms RPG. A fighter archetype adventurer, an Nyss elf sorceress and a gobber rogue.

The last picture clearly persuaded me, that someday i will have to take photo-shooting lessons.

Итоги недели

Пятидневная рабочая неделя оставляет мало времени на хобби и личную жизнь, хотя работа инженера оказалась сравнительно легче и приятнее чем я ожидал, а ощущение, что нужно было идти продавцом в магазин Солдатик и вовсе улетучилось.

За неделю я сделал не много, зато много из этого нужное.
Например загнал несколько последних магнитов в джека Возмездия Скиры. Заказчик хотел иметь возможность собрать любой из 3 вариантов, которые можно получить из этой коробки. В ход пошла дрель.

Также были вырезаны еще 4 подставки, три 30мм и одна 40мм. В общем планируется серия из 5-10 30мм, 3-5 40мм и 1-3 50мм подставок.
Ланисса и пока безымянная конверсия джека любезно попозировали мне.

А пока я не сообразил себе лайтбокс, решил последовать заветам знакомого фотографа и поиграться с диафрагмой и выдержкой. Вышло неудачно, зато в список нужного добавились еще пара-тройка ламп дневного света, как источники освещения.
Три миниатюры инфинити стали жертвами для новой цветовой схемы, близкой к оригинальной.
