Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war!

My first game of Alpha Strike was played today. The rules are pretty brutal and fast placed.

The small mining colony on the outskirts of Capellan space faced an outrageous confrontation.

Two Locusts as well as two Ravens on the other side are making an outflank.

This went poorly foe them, as 4 of them was destroyed by the 3rd turn, by superior firepower of heavy mechs. Though my Cataphract perished as well.

After that, i had a bad luck on my dice, only scoring a few hits on multiple turns in a row. While opponents light 'mechs constantly eating 2-3 damage on a hit. I lost Raven and Catapult, following by a Trebuchet. Light 'mechs in a close range being able to get to your rear arc on initiative is pure evil.

In the outcome, the last Jagermech was able to take down opponents Cataphract by overheating a bit, but ended up destroyed by one undamaged and two nearly dead lights.
